Gerard Butler & Michelle Monaghan's Diesel Premiere Night

Closing out the day with a night on the red carpet, Gerard Butler and Michelle Monaghan were side-by-side at the Diesel Black Gold Hosted Special Screening of "Machine Gun Preacher" in New York City on Tuesday (September 13).

The 41-year-old Scottish actor and his lovely 35-year-old co-star were a hit at the cinema showcase, as the pair worked the audience at the Museum of Modern Art venue before heading inside for the film's Big Apple debut.

As for the movie, the Marc Foster directed picture tells "the story of Sam Childers, a former drug-dealing biker tough guy who found God and became a crusader for hundreds of Sudanese children who've been forced to become soldiers."

"Machine Gun Preacher" also stars Michael Shannon, Madeline Carroll and Kathy Baker while scheduled for a limited US release date set for September 23rd.
