Though she's due in court on Wednesday to respond to charges of probation violation, Lindsay Lohan will not attend due to illness.
According to court documents, the "Mean Girls" star alleges she has an upper respiratory infection, making it unsafe to fly for herself and those around her. A letter from a Park Avenue doctor was reportedly attached to back up her story.
This would have been LiLo's first court appearance with her new attorney, Mark Heller. Earlier this month, the 26-year-old actress plead not guilty to the probation violation, originating from a June car crash in which she is accused of lying to law enforcement.
Recently, her case was transferred to Judge Sautner, who presided over her jewelery theft case which put her on probation in the first place. The judge has yet to excuse Lindsay's absence and could possibly issue a warrant for her arrest if she fails to appear.
