In what could have been a much bleaker outcome, Lindsay Lohan has been released from the hospital after being involved in a car wreck while on the way to work on Friday (June 8).
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the troubled young actress was on the way to work on the Pacific Coast Highway when her Porsche slammed into the tail end of an 18 wheeler.
Taken to a medical center after the bang-up, the 25-year-old has since been released - as her rep released a statement telling that she was "on her way to the set [of Liz & Dick]. She was brought to Santa Monica UCLA hospital as a precaution. She is fine and was released less than two hours later and is already headed back to the set to resume work.”
While LiLo ended up okay, her sports car wasn't so fortunate - as the car suffered serious damage including a banged up hood, smashed passenger window and the loss of a bumper.
