Gearing up for next month's ceremony, MTV announced the nominations for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on Tuesday (March 5).

Awards host Rebel Wilson and MTV News' Josh Horowitz started off the nomination spectacular by announcing the most coveted Golden Popcorn award for Movie of the Year.

Awards show season is just around the corner, and earlier today (January 2) the Producers Guild of America announced the theatrical motion picture and television nominations for the 2013 Producers Guild Awards.

For the third week in a row, Vampires are on pace to once again take top honors at the box office for the weekend of November 30- December 2, 2012.

Summit Entertainment’s final installment of the “Twilight” franchise "Breaking Dawn Part 2" took first place, taking in $5.4 million on Friday, with an expected $16.5 million weekend for the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart fronted drama.

Continuing its reign atop the movie world, “Breaking Dawn - Part 2” emerged victorious at the box office while comfortably out-earning its theatrical competition during the Thanksgiving weekend of November 21-25, 2012.

The final installment of "The Twilight Saga” franchise churned out $13.3, $8.3 and $17.4 million in ticket sales on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, respectively, while the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart fronted vampire flick is projected to take in $63.5 million over the five day holiday run.
