Taking care of her pet owner responsibilities, Leighton Meester was spotted walking her Dachshund puppy in Los Angeles yesterday (April 18).

The “Gossip Girl” hottie looked cute and casual as she tried to keep up with her pooch pal while paparazzi snapped up pictures.

In a new interview with Aussie magazine Dolly, Leighton confessed that she hasn’t always been the cool chick she is today.

She shared, “We didn't have a ton of money, so I couldn't say, 'Mom, I need to have these crazy expensive jeans.’ I had long, tangled hair and wore baggy T-shirts.”
