Yesterday it was discovered that the reports of Lindsay Lohan's appearance on “The Late Show” were falsely informed, and Lindsay Lohan made sure to make things right.
The comedian made a special point during his show last night to explain the confusion as well as apologize to LiLo and her family.
Letterman explained that he was duped into thinking Lindsay would appear on tonight’s show (February 17) to read a Top Ten List live via satellite from Los Angeles.
A man claiming to be a friend of Lohan called Letterman and said, “Lindsay thought that joke was hilarious… She wants to be on your show,” after David’s Grammy-stealing joke on Sunday’s Grammy Awards.
But it was all a farce. David said, “I have no one to blame but myself and boy is my face red. I hope I didn’t embarrass you Lindsay and your family.”
