Lady Gaga Gets Inked for 'Fame'
Never one to disappoint, Lady Gaga shocked her fans during promotions for her new fragrance at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City on Thursday (September 13).
The 26-year-old singer got a cherub tattooed on the back of her newly shaved head as part of an art-installation, which took place right in front of the attendees.
Adding to her multiple tattoos, the new ink features an angel’s head adorned in a crown with wings. It sits directly in the middle of the Mother Monster’s scalp.
Tattooist Mark Mahoney, who was aided by assistant Wes Brown, said of the new design: "It's kind of a Renaissance era cherub, a nod to her Italian heritage."
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Gaga shaved the back of her head earlier this week in honor of celebrity photographer Terry Richardson’s mother.
