He’s been catching heat for his homophobic slur, and now Kobe Bryant has repented of his sins and recorded a new public service announcement.

The NBA star joined forces with his Los Angeles Lakers teammates in the spot aimed against discriminatory speech.

Pairing up the league's two most-talked-about teams for a holiday extravaganza, the stars were out in full force to watch a little NBA Christmas Day action at Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA on Saturday (December 25).

Tinseltown names including Cameron Diaz and Kanye West grabbed up primo seats while watching Kobe Bryant and the Lakers take on Lebron James and Dwayne Wade's Miami Heat squad.

Every year the BET Awards is an event to behold. And last night there was plenty of pomp and circumstance, as well as a plethora of memorable performances.

Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium was packed to its 6,300-seat capacity as musical acts from the past joined today’s hottest performers for some noteworthy collaborations. For instance, Alicia Keys performed “Weak” with SWV, “Hold On” with En Vogue, and “Waterfalls” with Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins and Rozonda “Chili” Thomas from TLC.

She had dinner at Nine (or is it N9NE) with George Maloof and about 10 of her friends. (Also at Nine were Kobe Bryant and wife Vanessa, plus everyone's favorite heiresses, Paris & Nicky Hilton.)

It seems that Britney guzzled down the champagne during dinner, then headed over to the Ghost Bar at the Palms.. where she continued to drink the night away. That is until she had to be carried out the back door at 3am. (This is being refuted by Ms. Spears' people, so we're not sure just how true that is. They did say that she's like any other 22-year-old just out having fun celebrating New Year's Even with her friends.)

What we do know is that we've heard lots of these stories lately. Lots of late nights and drunken fun, but that's kind of normal even for someone who's not famous.. right?! She's finally legal to drink and have fun, she's young, rich and famous.. why shouldn't she be allowed to go out and have a good time!
