Kirstie Alley & Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s “DWTS” Slip-Up

Performing challenging dances in front of millions of television viewers as well as a studio audience can be nerve-wracking. And last night (April 4) Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy hit a speed bump in their routine.

The former “Cheers” actress was accidentally dropped by her pro partner when his thigh “gave out,” though it didn’t seem to affect their score.

Judge Len Goodman told them, “Dancing is a bit like life. It’s about overcoming adversities. You overcame it. You got up and you came back together.”

Bruno Tonioli added, “You can’t keep good talent down, because once you got up it was better than ever.” Alley dedicated her dance to her late mother who died in the 1980s.
