A September 14th court date has been set to determine whether or not the Britney Spears - Kevin Federline custody battle court records should be made public.
The "(You Drive Me) Crazy" singer has the editors at PEOPLE drooling over the idea of getting the inside scoop (leading them to file the motion for disclosure). If released, the documents will include testimony from recently subpoenaed ex-assistant Shannon Funk, ex-bodyguard Daimon Shippen, and current personal assistant Alli Sims.

This is starting to get uglier than expected. Kevin Federline served Britney Spears’ personal assistant with court papers. And the kicker- he did so during a late night party that extended into the wee hours of Sunday morning.
That’s right, Ally Sims was busy partying with her cousin/boss when she was presented with the papers. It’s kind of ironic that she’s being asked to detail Brit’s partying habits, when she herself was getting crunk when she was subpoenaed.

In case you didn’t get your fill of crazy yesterday, here’s some more Britney Spears action that will definitely deliver. The latest reports about the pop singer say that she has accused her ex-husband Kevin Federline of sleeping with her mother Lynne.
According to press, during a June blowout between Brit and her mom, the Lucky singer blurted out that she believed her mom was getting freaky with her ex-man. Apparently it was a pretty huge fight.

The official end to Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's marriage is finally upon us, as Britney's high-power lawyer, Laura Wasser, and her estranged husband's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, started proceedings at Los Angeles County Superior Court this morning (July 30).
TMZ reports that Wasser will make a motion to keep the custody and spousal support orders secret. And while K-Fed has mentioned that he has plans of trying to get full custody of their two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, Britney is putting up the best fight she can.
