Details are being worked out for the newest film in the "Planet of the Apes" franchise, and Keri Russell has reportedly signed on for the project.
According to Variety, the "Americans" star will join Andy Serkis, Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke, and Kodi Smit-McPhee in "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes."
The events in the sequel occur 15 years after "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," when most of humanity is wiped out and intelligent apes rule the world. Reportedly, a small group of San Francisco-based scientists form a resistance against their overlords.
