Kellie Pickler Shaves Head to Support Cancer-Stricken Friend

She’s always had a huge heart, and Kellie Pickler decided to shave her head to show support for her friend Summer Holt Miller.

According to a report, Miller is battling breast cancer and earlier this week the “American Idol” alum went under the shears to show solidarity.

Diagnosed with breast cancer in June, Summer is hopeful that her plight and Kellie’s bold love will raise awareness for others like her.

She told press, “If this compels even one person to change their mentality toward waiting until the age of 40 for their mammogram, then it will be worth it.”
