As the ending of "The Twilight Saga" nears, Kellan Lutz cherishes the early days he shared with castmates.
Among the star power at NYC's Gansevoort Park Hotel on Friday night (August 24) for the Heineken 2012 US Open Player Party, the 27-year-old actor spoke with Us Weekly about his nostalgic sentiments.
"I gotta say my favorite moments were during . . . the first movie, before any of this craze happened. We were just ourselves, no one really knew who we were yet," Lutz recalled. "We haven't changed per se, but we were able to get away with a lot more."
As an example, Kellan offered, "I remember Peter [Facinelli] and Jackson [Rathbone] and myself would go to different bars and different concerts. We'd go do karaoke all the time."
However, much has changed since the filming of the first installment as the entire cast made leaps in terms of their personal stardom. Of the overwhelming attention, Kellan admits, "It's a blessing but it can be surreal sometimes. I don't know if we all knew what we were fully getting into on all fronts."
