Katie Holmes & Suri's Big Apple Day Off

Getting in some quality mommy daughter time, Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise enjoyed an afternoon together in New York City on Wednesday (May 30).

Tom Cruise's lady looked fabulous for summer in a high-waisted denim skirt, slouchy button up and tan booties while her little fashionista kept it trendy in pink capris, a grey t shirt and her usual silver ballet flats while walking the Big Apple sidewalks.

Enjoying her time off with her darling 6-year-old, the 33-year-old actress has been hard at work filming for her new “Seagull” based movie in Kent, Connecticut.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, the untitled Christian Camargo directed movie is said to be based off of Anton Chekhov's "The Seagull" and is set in rural New England where reckless desire wreaks havoc over Memorial Day weekend as a family confronts the volatile and fragile nature of love.

Also starring alongside Miss Holmes is Allison Janney, William Hurt, Juliet Rylance, Mark Rylance and Jean Reno. At this time no exact date has been announced on when production will wrap or when we can expect to see the film on the big screen.
