Katie Holmes Premieres "The Extra Man"

Having flown into town via helicopter earlier in the day, Katie Holmes showed off her longer locks while working the red carpet at the New York City premiere of "The Extra Man" on Monday (July 19).

Opting for the perfect summertime ensemble, the "Mad Money" cutie sported a blue and red striped lightweight dress as she eased her way inside Village East Theater.

As for the film, "The Extra Man" is about "a man who escorts wealthy widows in New York's Upper East Side taking a young aspiring playwright under his wing."

The movie co-stars Kevin Kline and Paul Dano - who both were also in attendance - while being co-directed by Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini.
