Katharine McPhee Shakes It Out on "Smash"

Making her way around New York City, Katharine McPhee bundled up as she headed to the "Smash" set on Staten Island on Monday (March 12).

In a fedora hat and large sunglasses, the 27-year-old actress smiled and waved to the cameras as she caught up with co-star Jenny Laroche along the way.

Earlier today, Miss McPhee tweeted about filming her new NBC show, as she wrote, "Goodnight tweeps...5:30 am is coming soon. Only 6 days left of shooting Smash to complete season 1."

The actress recently revealed to AOL Music Blog how excited she was to record the Monday, March 12th "Chemistry" episode, saying, "We went through a bunch of songs and when I heard this last year, I knew we had to do it. Florence + the Machine's record had not come out yet but we had heard the song and thought this would be amazing especially in this setting, so far this is one of my favorites."
