Putting her celebrity prowess to good promotional use, Kate Bosworth has landed herself a gig as the newest ambassador for swanky skin care brand SK-II.

The recently-engaged blonde's latest role as frontwoman of the high profile beauty company has her joining ranks with the Japanese brand's long-time A-list ambassador Cate Blanchett.

Excited over the addition of their new famous face, a spokesperson told press, "Kate Bosworth epitomizes the classic beauty that SK-II represents and we welcome her to our expanding family of ambassadors around the world."

As for her first press-related juncture for SK-II, Kate is scheduled to jet Down Under in October to show her support for the brand and their Australian consumer base.
