Kate Beckinsale Goes Blonde!

Changing up her look with a brand new coif, Kate Beckinsale flaunted a blonde hairdo as she arrived at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon (January 14).

All set for a flight out of Tinseltown, the "Underworld" actress rocked her lightened locks as she joined husband Len Wiseman and daughter Lily Mo at the popular metro terminal.

And while she's widely considered one of the hottest ladies in showbiz, Miss Beckinsale recently revealed that this wasn't always the case.

She told The Sun, "I was an awkward child. I would not want to go out of the house unless I wore tartan tights, a stripy skirt and spotted T-shirt. I was a nightmare. I was quite fat as a small child. I suddenly had hips and I was about 4ft 11in at 14. Then I grew in height, massively. I am 5ft 7in now."

Suffering a difficult childhood as she lost her father at an early age, Kate told, "I loathed being a teenager. If something traumatic happens when you are very young, it takes a long time to get used to it."

The 37-year-old added, "My mother is gorgeous. She went on to become the breadwinner after my father's death and kept us both. The lesson was in how she dealt with tragedy - and how she brought me up to deal with problems."
