Kat Graham Talks Poor Past, Hectic Schedule with Nylon September 2012

Taking a break from her busy "Vampire Diaries" schedule, Kat Graham garnered herself a little added exposure by landing a feature in the September 2012 issue of NYLON magazine.

The 22-year-old actress posed in several layered looks for the sultry Isa Wipfli shot spread while dishing about everything from being poor to her busy life.

“I was so broke when I booked it — I had 86 cents in my bank account. I remember that number specifically.”

On acting, singing and dancing:
“It’s almost like having a painting unfinished if I lose one. My goal is to have all three working simultaneously in my art.”

On her demanding schedule:
“At the end of the day, what makes me the performer that I am is the fact that I do all three.”
