Kanye West is an American born rap star that originaly found his fame rapping to the beat in inner city USA. After making a break through in the music industry Kanye has gone on to create several top awards. Kanye is currently engaged to Kim Kardashian.
His latest single "Bound 2" made headlines with its overly-revealing music video, but now Kanye West is being smacked with the lawsuit over his allegedly unlicensed sample in the single.
According to the New York Daily News, member of the 1960’s group Ponderosa Twins Plus One Ricky Spicer filed the lawsuit on Monday (December 23) and claimed his lyrics have been used without permission by the “Love Lockdown” hitmaker.
Calling out one of the biggest names in pop music, Arsenio Hall responded to Kanye West, who recently used Hall as an example of a black entertainer who supposedly got shut down for taking his message too far.
Kanye went on a radio interview, saying, "What happens if y’all don’t don’t buy [my] albums? People are gonna say, ‘Oh, he’s like Arsenio Hall, and he was turning up too much, and now you fired. But when you’ve got money, can’t nobody fire you."
His off-the-cuff remarks seem to frequently land him in hot water and now one Ohio police chief is calling out Kanye West for comparing the dangers of being a rapper to being a police officer or going to war.
After hearing the "New Slaves" rapper being interviewed on "Saturday Night Online," Brimfield Police Chief David Oliver became incensed, taking to the department's Facebook page to post an open letter to Yeezy.
