Justin Timberlake’s Southern Hospitality
One of the favorite pastimes of celebrities is restaurant investment. Everyone from Britney Spears to Ashton Kutcher has their hand in an eatery, and now Justin Timberlake’s trying his at some Southern Hospitality.
The new restaurant is in New York City, and he was there to celebrate the grand opening on Wednesday night. Southern Hospitality is a Memphis-style barbecue joint, specializing in ribs, biscuits, and corn and crab fritters.
JT even brought a personal touch to the menu, using some authentic Timberlake family recipes he got from his grandmother. "We had to negotiate on which ones she was willing to give up," he told press.
And when you visit, make sure you taste the fried green tomatoes and pulled pork. They’re Justin’s favorite on the menu. Jay-Z, Lance Bass, Seth Green, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Al Sharpton all turned out to see what Justin was cooking up.
"I'm here because there's food – and I know them," Seth Green told press. And don’t be surprised if he opens a breakfast restaurant someday. He told press, "I'm excellent with breakfast foods. I'm good with omelets and pancakes. I bring it home for you."
