Justin Bieber's tour got off to a rough start, as the teen superstar battled illness through his entire 21-song set at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, Arizona on Saturday (September 29).
Opening the show was feel-good singer Carly Rae Jepsen, but even her peppy pop couldn't cure a case of Bieber fever.
The 18-year-old idol made it an hour into the concert before high-tailing it off stage. When he returned, he apologized, telling the crowd, "I'm sorry, I'm going to slow things down."
Later, during his "Beauty and a Beat" song, he turned, doubled over, and threw up on the stage. Overcome, he then bolted off stage, leaving the crowd hanging for a few minutes.
Coming clean to his fans, he explained, "It's hard for me, you know, not feeling great and throwing up in front of a bunch of people. Will you love me even though I'm throwing up on stage? OK, I wanted to give you my best show ever, so do you mind if I finish it?"
As for the origin of the illness, the Biebs tweeted, "And .... Milk was a bad choice! Lol" after the event.
