We got a first look at Lily Collins' rendition of Snow White earlier this summer and now, thanks to the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, we're getting even better insight of what's to come in Relativity Media's forthcoming film.
Showing off her powerfully striking pose, fans get their first glimpse of Julia Roberts in her latest role as the devilish Evil Queen.
Demanding your attention in a massive, peach-colored gown, directer Tarsem Singh says the character is a jack of all trades, telling EW, “She’s the cat that ate the canary. She outsources her evil, just like most people. I wanted a person who is just schizophrenic. She’s a person who would just do all the evil she needs to do to stay in power.”
Additionally, the publication delivers yet another colorful dose of Miss Collins as Snow White, dressed in a bold blue frock and surrounded by her seven dwarf bandits.
Of her time on set with Roberts, Collins revealed, “She gets in character and stays there. She’s ‘Julia’ and graceful and an amazing woman, but on-screen, when she turns … the way she’s playing the queen, people feel really bad for Snow White.”
