Hitting the talk show circuit for a promotional appearance, Jon Hamm was one of the celebrity guests on “The Late Show with David Letterman” last night (March 1).
The “Bridesmaids” stud was in the house to plug the upcoming season of his massively-popular AMC television series “Mad Men.”
And when the conversation turned to Mad Men’s long hiatus between Seasons 4 and 5, Hamm was asked to explain the delay.
He shared, "I've described it thusly, and I got in trouble, so I'll do it again the same way. When billionaires fight it takes a lot longer to settle. So we had some very wealthy people determining how long we would be off the air."
Jon also gave the Season 5 premiere date of March 25th, stating, "We are back, finished with production. Season 5 is in the books."
