John Travolta's Vintage Mercedes Stolen in Santa Monica

Sounding like a scene ripped from a movie script, John Travolta became a victim of car theft over the weekend (September 18).

According to a TMZ report, the "Pulp Fiction" actor's 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SL was stolen from a Santa Monica street while he visited a nearby Jaguar dealership.

Returning to the place he parked his vintage sports car just ten minutes later, John quickly realized the $100,0000 ride had been snatched.

While he immediately filed a police report, there are said to be no witnesses to the alleged theft.
