John Stamos' Lawyer Denies Statutory Rape Claims

Back in the news for yet another snafu, John Stamos has been accused of statutory rape.

An attorney working for the former “Full House” actor, however, has denied that he had a romantic fling with the 17-year-old girl, who now six years later has been accused of attempting to scheme the actor by threatening to sell comprising photos to the tabloids.

The 46-year-old is expected to testify during today’s trial, but it's unclear if he will address the defense's claim that he had a romantic encounter with Allison Coss when she was a high school student on a spring break trip to Florida in 2004.

"The allegations made today in the courtroom by the defendants' attorneys during opening statements will not be proven because they are simply untrue," the statement said.

The actor’s lawyer released a statement, saying, "The allegations made today in the courtroom by the defendants' attorneys during opening statements will not be proven because they are simply untrue.”
