He’s been sidelined for 10 months due to a pesky granuloma on his vocal cords but now John Mayer is ready to hit the stage for some touring.
The “Queen of California” crooner performed at an event this week and it sounds like everything went reasonably well.
Mayer’s Twitter page declared, “Tonight John sang ‘Speak for Me’ at the Livingston Town Proper. And we’re back,” along with a live pic.
And in a new interview, John describe his feelings after months and months of vocal therapy. "I don't have a ton of range…I'm a 70-year-old version of myself. [But it’s] better than nothing…it's like a painter w/just reds & purples. Full recovery will be 'months.'"
