Jimmy Fallon & The Roots: Late Night Legends

Nobody was sure how he’d do taking over Conan O’Brien’s time slot last year, but Jimmy Fallon has proven himself as the real deal.
A big part of “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” success is also a direct result of his house band, The Roots, who add a much-needed flavor to what can sometimes become a stale genre of television.
Drummer Ahmir “?uestlove” Thompson told GQ, "You can only be one-dimensional in hip-hop. You have to be a caricature. This show allows us to be three-dimensional people."
In addition to providing the musical backdrop, The Roots members also join in the comedic fun with various sketches and plenty of witty banter, including a debate over who really runs the show- Jimmy or his band?
