Jimmy Dean Passes Away at Age 81

He was many things to many people, and Jimmy Dean has passed away in the comfort of his Virginia home at age 81.

The country music legend/television host/sausage spokesman had been having some health problems as of late, but his wife Donna Meade Dean said he’d been doing better.

Back in February, Dean was elected into the Country Music Hall of Fame, but has tragically died before October’s induction ceremony.

Jimmy had a long and brilliant career including #1 hit songs, guest hosting duties on ‘The Tonight Show’ and of course his famous Sausage Company commercials.
