Jesse McCartney’s Mall Date

Enjoying some down time, Jesse McCartney was spotted out at the Westfield Mall in Los Angeles yesterday (March 6).

The singer/actor was joined by a new beautiful blonde girlfriend as he walked with his head down to avoid the paparazzi.

Jesse’s new television gig “Locke & Key” looks to be promising, though Joe Hill, the creator of the original comic book, said he wasn’t too sure about bringing McCartney on at first.

“Initially I had my doubts [about Jesse], not knowing anything about him except that he had a music career. I watched him perform a couple scenes and was not just impressed, but kind of rattled by how well he brings off Tyler. Jess has depth and gravity and a kind of sweet, bruised innocence that really captures what I was after in the character.”
