Jeremy Renner Talks "The Avengers"

With just over a month remaining until his new movie invades theaters around the globe, Jeremy Renner offered up a new interview about "The Avengers".

The Clint Barton/Hawkeye actor spoke with the May 2012 issue of Total Film about topics including his character, training and working with the film's director, Joss Whedon.

On what he likes about Clint Barton/Hawkeye:
"I liked that he was just a human with a high skill level. I've played a few snipers – it's a really interesting mentality."

On the training that he did:
"I practiced with Olympic archers. I also took training in how to use the bow as a weapon."

On working with director Joss Whedon:
"He cuts right to the chase. He's a 'Say it in a sentence or don't say it at all' kind of guy, and I like that."
