Jennifer Lopez is an American actress, businesswoman, dancer and recording artist. She started her career as a Fly Girl on the television program In Living Color and as a back-up dancer for Janet Jackson. Lopez gained recognition in the action-thriller Money Train. Lopez ventured into music in 1999 with the release of her debut album On the 6. Her second album J.Lo (2001) reached number one on the Billboard 200 the same week her film The Wedding Planner led the box office, becoming the first person to achieve a number one film and album in the same week. Lopez also has two children with former husband Marc Anthony, twins Max and Emme.
She’s on top of the world - a booming career, a hunky husband, and adorable twins - but Jennifer Lopez says she got the shaft when her “El Cantante” role went unnoticed by the Academy Awards committee.
J. Lo explained, "I feel like I had that [Oscar worthy role] in 'El Cantante,' but I don't think the academy members saw it. It is a little bit frustrating. When the Oscars were on, I had just given birth on the 22nd, and the Oscars I think were a day or two later. I was sitting there with my twins — and I couldn't have been happier — but I was like 'How dope would it have been if I would've won the Oscar and been here in my hospital bed accepting the award?'"
Greeting fans and press ahead of kickoff, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony worked the Orange Carpet at the Land Shark Stadium in Miami, Florida on Sunday (January 3).
The "El Cantante" couple both looked superb as they readied for the regular season finale - with their Miami Dolphins needing a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers and a lot of outside help for any chance at making the playoffs.
Treating the family to a Christmas to remember, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were spotted out at Disney's California Adventure theme park in Anaheim, California.
The "El Cantante" couple mad their way around the popular vacation spot on Christmas Eve - joined by children Cristian, Max and Emme, as well as Jennifer's mother, Guadalupe Lopez, and sister, Linda Lopez.
It’s safe to say she’s always looked really good, but Jennifer Lopez admits that she doesn’t hit the gym as hard as she used to.
In the January issue of Allure, the “Ain’t It Funny” songstress tells, "I'm not the monster I used to be in the exercise department. You get past your 20s, you've got kids...you're kind of unmotivated."
