Jennifer Lawrence: "Big-Boned" Katniss Critics are "Hilarious"
She's been widely praised by most, Jennifer Lawrence has seen a group of dissenters who are opining that she's too "big-boned" to be convincing as the character of Katniss Everdeen in "The Hunger Games".
With the book's original character described as "poor" and "hungry," the naysayers aren't pleased with the 21-year-old's well built physique - as they think a skinnier female lead would have been a better choice.
While some young ladies certainly wouldn't handle the criticism of being "too large" well, that's not the case when it comes to Miss Lawrence.
According to a Chicago Sun Times source, Jennifer thinks that her critics position is "hilarious" while she's said to have told a friend, "First, people say how so many actresses in Hollywood look anorexic, and now they are criticizing me for looking normal."
The Sun Times insider also noted that the level-headed rising star thinks that body images "are too often adopted by young girls and women - thanks to what they are constantly being shown as being attractive."
