Jay-Z: Under Investigation By the NBA

He’s always been an avid sports fan, but when Jay-Z paid a visit to the University of Kentucky’s locker room after their victory on Sunday he raised some eyebrows.

The “Empire State of Mind” rapper reportedly congratulated the Wildcats for clinching a Final Four berth by beating North Carolina at the Prudential Center, the home of the New Jersey Nets.

Unfortunately, since Jay is part owner of the Nets, that makes him NBA team personnel which creates a problem.

An NBA rep said they were investigating Jay-Z’s visit to the UK players since it’s illegal for team personnel to have contact with players who are not yet draft eligible.
