Janet Jackson: Jermaine Dupri Still an “Ex”

Although there have been talks that Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri are back together, Jackson has referred to Dupri as her “ex”” in a new radio interview with Atlanta’s The Bert Show.

While talking, the singer included Dupri on her list of ex-boyfriends that she does still keep in touch with.

"I'm not the type of girl that stays in touch with your ex like that," Jackson, 43, claims.

But it’s a different story with Dupri. "Jermaine is one of my best friends. I love him to death. We're still connected. We're still good friends. We still talk."

It has been a tough year for Jackson since the death of her brother in June. Then, she and Dupri decided to take a break from an eight-year relationship due to music career conflicts in July. Reports have claimed they reunited in September for Dupri’s birthday in Lake Como, Italy.

"There is a still a lot of love there," a close friend spilled.

"We're there for one another," Jackson said of Dupri. "I think it will remain that way for the rest of my life."
