Hugh Jackman's Down Under “Real Steel” Premiere

Showing some love to his hometown crowd, Hugh Jackman was spotted at the premiere of “Real Steel” in Sydney, Australia today (September 28).

The “X Men” stud donned a black suit and greeted fans and press at the Event Cinemas before heading inside for the screening.

And it seems Hugh’s family really took a liking to “Real Steel,” especially his son Oscar (11) and daughter Ava (6).

He explained, “This is the first time they’ve really connected with one of my films. I don’t let them watch ‘X-Men.’ Most of the time they don’t really ask me much about my job. They come on set, but it’s just dad, it’s normal. This is the first time they were like, ‘We love this!’ And they wanna take their friends. They have all the action figures. My son sleeps with Adam the robot.”
