Garnering the top spot on The GQ 50 Men of Style and Substance list, Hugh Jackman adorned the cover of the April/May 2012 issue of GQ Australia.

Looking dapper on the Guy Aroch shot front page, the 43-year-old actor was dubbed as 'The Class Act' by the magazine while commenting on deep topics such as the world's inequalities and his passion for Socrates.

Highlights from Mr Jackman's column are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to GQ Australia!

On the inequalities in the world today:
"The natural law us that we should all have equal access, equal opportunity with the planet. But it seems the way that we've divided it up politically or economically, that is not the case."

On his desire to change the world:
"I'm in a very, very amazing position, one of great opportunity and money and resources that I never thought I would have. And I find myself at times in Ethiopia with people who have nothing and it's tough, it's a wrestle."

On a philosophical position that everyone should heed:
"A great philosopher I read a lot is Socrates, and he says, 'It is better to be refuted than to refute.' So if anyone out there is saying, 'Hey, you're full of it.' Sometimes there may be a little truth in that. It might be worth listening to."
