Montag and her fiancee Spencer Pratt were actually banned from the MTV post-premiere party this past Wednesday. The reason? Too much tension.

In case you're a bit behind (or just need a refresher), LC and Heidi's friendship fell apart during the second season of the hit show, when Montag began dating Spencer Pratt. By the season's end, Heidi moved out of Lauren's apartment and in with Pratt. Since that time, the two girls have barely said a word to one another.

There’s nothing like a guy to come between two best friends. Just ask Lauren Conrad. Her BFF Heidi Montag ditched their friendship for her engagement to Spencer Pratt, moving out of their apartment and into Pratt’s house.
It’s all good from Spencer’s point of view, though. "Spencer has never felt so incredibly in love in all his life and Heidi feels like she is walking on clouds. Spencer wanted to show Heidi his commitment by taking their relationship to the next level," a source close to Pratt told press.

The Hills are alive, as MTV's hit reality show has been turning up the drama. The big news - Heidi Montag has said "Yes" to boyfriend Spencer Pratt's wedding proposal - leading to a bit of a catfight with co-star and now ex-roommate, Lauren Conrad.
According to Us Magazine, Montag and Pratt are engaged after he proposed to her Tuesday night at the Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara. "She said, 'yes.' She's over the moon!" an insider told the magazine.

Last night was a prime time event in Hollywood for the launch party of the second season of The Hills. The Hills stars Lauren “LC” Conrad and her group of girls as they try and make in the City of Angels as young professionals, who are also equally as interested in making their mark on the social scene. The first season was meet with more success than most Hollywood executives thought was possible, and is the reason for the huge launch party that kicks off the second season.
The party had a continuous stream of celebrities pouring in throughout the night. Some of the most noticeable were: Jack Osborne, Dennis Rodman (why he was invited God only knows), Brandon Stavros, the cast of twentyfourseven, Jesse McCartney, "J.R." Rotem (Britney Spears’ former producer), Brody Jenner, and many cast members from Laguna Beach.
