In the midst of shooting the first season of her new CW show "Hellcats," Ashley Tisdale has been focused on playing cheerleader Savannah Monroe to the best of her ability.
Talking about her latest gig with ET, the former "High School Musical" star said of her character, "I like her clothes. She has like a Southern flair.… When I think of a Southern chick, I think of little dresses all the time. She comes from a wealthy family. She is always in little floral outfits."
Moving on to dish her thoughts on filming in Vancouver, Tizzie tells, "It has been interesting. I feel like I am in college. I didn't get to go to college. I graduated regular high school. I went to regular school all my life. Education is very big for my family and for me, but I went straight to Disney after high school, so I never got to experience going away. I have a house next to my parents' house, so I have always been surrounded by my family. This is me out on my own for sure. In Vancouver, I am cooking and I am cleaning. If I had to be anywhere else, it would be Vancouver. It is so beautiful. We haven't had the rainy season yet, but it is really amazing."
You can catch Ashley and her co-stars in an all-new episode of "Hellcats" titled "Nobody Loves Me But My Mother" airing Wednesday, September 29 at 9/8c on The CW.
A synopsis via the show's website tells: "Lewis (Robbie Jones) asks Marti (Aly Michalka) out but she turns him down. Alice (Heather Hemmens) tells Lewis (Robbie Jones) she will stop taking drugs if he helps her get back in shape as a flier, but then after a sweaty workout the two end up having sex. Meanwhile, Savannah (Ashley Tisdale) takes Dan (Matt Barr) to her parents' house for dinner and a fight erupts after Savannah's mom (guest star Teryl Rothery) demands that she stop seeing Dan. Wanda (Gail O'Grady) convinces Marti to give Lewis a chance so she tells him she's ready to date but he has second thoughts"
