In Perth, Australia, friends and family arrived at Heath Ledger's mother's home on Monday to pay their respects over the loss of their loved one.
According to an insider, "This is where the media descended after his parents and family arrived at the Perth Domestic airport. They eluded the waiting media by escaping through one of the numerous exits at the airport."
In the wake of the tragic death of Heath Ledger, his father Kim paid a visit to the late actor’s apartment earlier today.
Reportedly, the elder Ledger was escorted inside the Broome Street apartment building in Manhattan’s SoHo district via a rear entrance. According to press, he spent about an hour in apartment #4 with several security guards.
With the shockwaves sent through Hollywood as a result of Heath Ledger’s death on Tuesday, the celebrity world (as well as the rest of the world) has been reeling. And earlier today, Mary-Kate Olsen released a statement.

According to Funeral Director Dominic Carella, Ledger’s father Kim will be arriving today from Perth, Australia. He’ll most likely be joined by two of Heath’s uncles, Mike and Hayden Ledger (they were on CBS’s The Early Show via satellite earlier this week).
