The “Monster’s Ball” actress hobnobbed with guests like Mariska Hargitay and Mayor Michael Bloomberg at Red Rooster Restaurant as shutterbugs looked on.

According to a report, the Mayor’s Fund benefit dinner raised money for the Family Justice Centers, an important social program in NYC.

In career news, Halle’s new film “Dark Tide” has just released a promotional trailer. In the clip, Berry’s character, a modern-day adventurer and shark enthusiast, and her crew are swept into shark infested waters when their boat capsizes.
