Nicki Minaj: 2012 GRAMMY Pals with the Pope

Gearing up for one of the biggest nights in the music world, Nicki Minaj made a grand arrival to the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards on Sunday (February 12).

The "Superbass" sensation brought her unique look in a red Versace couture cloak while on the arm of an imposter pope on the Staples Center red carpet as she prepped for what could be a monumental night in her young career.

As for the ceremony, Miss Minaj is up for trophies in the Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Album categories.

She’s also is set to take the stage for a what’s sure-to-be-a-fabulous performance of her new song "Roman Holiday".

Of the planned stage effort, Laurieann Gibson told BET, "While there's nothing I can confess hint, hint, I can say it will be exciting and huge!"
