Rep: Gerard Butler Has Completed a "Successful Treatment"

After a report from TMZ broke earlier today (February 24) revealing that he was seeking treatment at the Betty Ford Center, it is now being told that Gerard Butler has already finished his stint in rehab.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, the Scottish actor checked into the well-known facility on his own free will three weeks ago to try and break an increasingly dependent prescription pill addiction.

Seemingly satisfied with his current state, Butler's rep has since issued a statement telling, "Gerard has completed a successful course of treatment and has returned home in good health."

"We will not be making any further comment at this time," the spokesperson added.

The Betty Ford stay comes as Gerard has had issues with substance abuse in the past, with TMZ telling that he's had bouts with cocaine and pill over-consumption dating back to 2006.
