Gerard Butler Watches the LA Galaxy Secure Another Championship

Taking a break from promoting his upcoming movie, Gerard Butler attended the LA Galaxy game in Los Angeles on Saturday (December 1).

The 43-year-old Scotsman chatted with friends and fans as they watched David Beckham lead the Galaxy to a second championship in his last game with the team.

In related news, soccer is the theme of Butler’s upcoming flick “Playing for Keeps,” in which he plays a former sports star who coaches his son’s soccer team as a way to get his life together.

The film also stars Jessica Biel, Uma Thurman, and Catherine Zeta-Jones. It will hit theaters nationwide on December 7.
