George Clooney Named as Witness in Berlusconi Trial

He’s known for his dashing good looks and a killer Hollywood career, but George Clooney will be playing a brand new role in Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi’s prostitution trial- witness.

The “Ocean’s Eleven” stud and his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis were both named as party guests by a Moroccan teenager who says she was paid to have sex with Berlusconi.

George told press, It seems odd since I’ve only met Berlusconi once and that was in an attempt to get aid into Darfur.”

Berlusconi is accused of having repeated sexual encounters with Ruby, real name Karima el-Mahroug, and then using his influence to cover the whole thing up.
