Honoring some of the most intriguing men and women over the past twelve months, celebrities from all over came together on one red carpet tonight (March 5) at this year's 15th anniversary of Cosmopolitan Magazine's "Fun Fearless Awards."
The star-studded arrivals area was filled with A-listers like Dakota Fanning and Freida Pinto, who prettied up the Mandarin Oriental Ballroom in New York City.
Other stars in attendance included funnymen Paul Rudd and Jonah Hill, country musics superstars Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, actresses Rose Byrne and Lucy Hale, and hunky "Hunger Games" actor Liam Hemsworth.
Topping the list as "Fun Fearless Male of the Year 2012" is Aussie actor, Sam Worthington - who talked with Cosmo about getting to know himself as he grew older, saying, "Well, you think you know who you are in your 20s. When I was in my 20s, I thought I knew who I was. And then as soon as I turned 30, I realized that person has bruises and bumps and dark parts. And you kind of go, well, that's it. I'd rather embrace it than force myself to change. And by embracing those parts of you, you can actually work on them more. You don't act as if you know it all."
Taking home the grand award of "Fun Fearless Female of the Year 2012" is Miss Fanning, who said of her superhuman aura, "Since I was young, I’ve always known who I was. I never really had to go through finding who I am. I’ve always felt really secure.”
Other Fun Fearless winners of 2012 include "Avatar" hottie Zoe Saldana, "Get Him To the Greek" star Jonah Hill and Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.
