Celebrating the hottest in digital music, The O Music Awards honor innovators in music, culture, and technology with categories like the Digital Genius Award, Fan Army FTW, Must Follow Artist on Twitter, and more.
The fourth annual ceremony will introduce five new awards, including Make a Band Famous; Next Big Scene, honoring emerging musical genres and trends; Most Inspiring Fan Outreach, honoring artists who use technology to connect with fans; Analog Genius, for the artist using outdated technology in updated ways; and the bound-to-be-fan-favorite "Friday, Friday" Award, "a salute to viral trends we wish would go away."
Opening up about some of the latest headlines, Chris Brown made an appearance for an interview on Power 106 on Friday (March 29).
After explaining that he is choosing not to live his life "behind a shadow" anymore, Brown dished on a range of topics including his feud with Frank Ocean and whether or not he and RiRi have any new music in the works.
Last month they had an altercation outside a Los Angeles recording studio, and it turns out neither Frank Ocean nor Chris Brown will face any legal ramifications.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, “authorities are unlikely to push for a misdemeanor battery charge” against Mr. Brown, despite the fact that he’s still on probation for his assault on Rihanna back in 2009.
