Enjoying each other’s company, Adam Lambert appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and spoke of his much-talked-about performance on the American Music Awards.
Sounding as if he had a bit of remorse in his voice, the American Idol runner up said, "I forgot that this was the first time people were seeing me on TV again after Idol…I think in hindsight, I look back on it and I go, 'Okay, maybe that wasn't the best first impression to make again or the first second impression.'"
Taking over the hosting duties of the VH1 Divas Live concert last night (September 17), Paula Abdul poked a little fun at her “American Idol” replacement Ellen DeGeneres.
During a segment on the show, Abdul sported a blonde wig along with a dark suit and sneakers (in Ellen’s typical fashion) and joked, “Why are you all staring at me? Can’t a girl try out for a new job?”
Although she loves to dance, Ellen DeGeneres is using her love of music as an “American Idol” judge.
“I love music-period,” she explained to Ryan Seacrest in an interview earlier today. “And I’m a huge fan of the show. I haven’t missed one show since the beginning..I’m just a fan like everybody else.”
Making a big career move, Ellen Degeneres has been chosen to replace Paula Abdul as the fourth judge on "American Idol".
"I'm thrilled to be the new judge on American Idol," DeGeneres told press. "I've watched since the beginning, and I've always been a huge fan. So getting this job is a dream come true, and think of all the money I'll save from not having to text in my vote."
She always has a trick or two up her sleeve, and during a recent taping of her talk show, Ellen Degeneres played a sexy prank on her guest David Beckham.
During the interview, DeGeneres presented Becks with a huge 30-foot poster that was hanging outside the studio- Ellen superimposed her face over Victoria Beckham’s underwear-clad body who was clinging to David in the shot.
