Ellen DeGeneres Covers Inland Empire June 2012
She’s one of Hollywood’s most beloved talk show hosts and now Ellen DeGeneres is gracing the cover of the June 2012 issue of Inland Empire magazine.
The 54-year-old talks about her work as a humanitarian as the reporters at Inland show off how much she’s one to change the lives of others for the better.
In the issue, Ellen discusses her career as well as being open about her sexuality.
On her passion for promoting “Adopt A Shelter Pet”:
This is a subject that I am extremely passionate about, by working together, we can find good homes for millions of adoptable, homeless and abandoned pets.”
On her mother’s reaction after admitting she was gay:
The most ironic thing about this was that her whole fear was, ‘You’re not going to meet a man? Who’s going to take of you?’”
On having to constantly move homes during her childhood due to her father’s job:
I’d have to go to a different school every year, I never really kind of adjusted or fit in, so I was just frustrated.
