Elizabeth Olsen Grabs the NY Film Festival Spotlight

She’s always up for a publicity opportunity and last night (October 11) Elizabeth Olsen was spotted at the 49th Annual New York Film Festival premiere of “Martha Marcy May Marlene.”

The 22-year-old actress was all smiles as she arrived at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center, sporting a black halter-style dress with snazzy black peep-toe heels.

Elizabeth’s screenwriter and director Sean Durkin sang her praises during a recent interview for her performance in the film.

“Lizzie read the first scene and, immediately, there was something different happening. She could convey a lot without doing anything. There was so much going on behind her eyes.”

Costar Sarah Paulson added, “When I met Lizzie, I felt like she was more mature and worldly than I am. I find her kind of astonishing.”
